AMC Announces When The Walking Dead’s Finale Season 11 Episodes Will Air

Not ready to say goodbye! Every year TV series inevitably come to an end, but that doesn’t mean it’s easy to let our favorite characters go.

After a rocky few years of facing filming delays and premiere pushbacks amid the 2020 and 2021 COVID-19 pandemic, the 2022 television slate came out swinging.

Fan favorites such as Grace and Frankie, This Is Us and The Walking Dead all prepared to bid farewell to viewers, even though many TV lovers weren’t ready for the end.

“We are both delighted and heartbroken that Grace and Frankie will be back for its seventh, though final, season. We’re so grateful that our show has been able to deal with issues that have really connected to our grand generation,” stars Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin, who play Grace Hanson and Frankie Bergstein, respectively, said in a joint statement in September 2019. “And their kids, and amazingly, their kids as well! We’ll miss these two old gals, Grace and Frankie, as much as many of their fans will, but we’ll still be around. We’ve outlasted so many things — just hope we don’t outlast the planet.”

Brooklyn Decker, who played Grace’s daughter Mallory Hanson on the Netflix hit, gushed over working with the two legends while saying farewell to the show in April.

“This has been the privilege of a lifetime. Thank you to our writers, our crew, our cast, our partners and families,” Decker wrote via Instagram on April 24 ahead of the final chapter of Grace and Frankie’s Netflix drop later that month. “I can’t believe it’s been 8 years, I still can’t believe we were shut down during a pandemic and then able to come back and finish it out perfectly.”

The Ohio native continued: “To all who have laughed and cried with us — thank you for watching, thank you for being along with us for this ride. To the women pictured, [Tomlin, Fonda and June Diane Raphael], you all mean so much to me. I’m the luckiest lady in all the land.”

The cast of This Is Us, has been vocal about wrapping its sixth and final season throughout 2022. The family drama, which will end on May 24, stars Mandy Moore, Milo Ventimiglia, Sterling K. Brown, Chrissy Metz and Justin Hartley.

“I think what I will miss most about [playing] Kate is that, like, I think so many people — not even just women — relate to her and her walking imperfectly through her trials and tribulations, and all the shame and guilt that she’s carried for so long,” Metz exclusively told Us Weekly in January. “And it’s really sort of like a torch that she’s carrying and I think … that’s a really special thing, to meet people that I’ve never met before and be able to cry in bathrooms with them about what they’re going through.”

The 21-year-old dancer has made history as the first Latin/ballroom dancer to ever win So You Think You Can Dance. She’s walking away from SYTYCD with $100,000 and the title of “America’s Favorite Dancer.” Alexis was near tears after she was announced as the winner. This is just the start of Alexis’ long career. Alexis is married to Jake Burton. The couple wed in November 2018. She recently celebrated his birthday in July 2022. “My love. My everything. Celebrated his birthday in one of our favorite places on earth. I’m in heaven with you,” she wrote on Instagram.

3. Alexis competed AGT and World of Dance.

Alexis appeared on America’s Got Talent in 2014 as the dance captain with the Center Stage Dance Troupe. Four years later, she tried out for World of Dance, the dance competition series that Derek Hough judged.

4. Alexis joined Derek Hough on tour.

Alexis later joined fellow Utah native Derek on his official tour: Derek Hough Live!: The Tour. “When I was asked to join the tour, I didn’t believe it at first. It took a moment to sink in,” Alexis told Deseret News. “I couldn’t wait. Afterwards I started crying and was on cloud nine.”

5. Alexis appeared in other TV series.

According to her IMDb profile, Alexis was a chorus performer/softball player in an episode of High School Musical: The Musical. She also appeared as herself in a 2021 episode of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.

New ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Season 8 Promo Pic Features NSFW Pool Toys

Another round of love by the sea. Bachelor in Paradise is coming back for season 8, but this time there will be a few changes.

While season 7 featured a rotating slate of guest hosts including Lil Jon, Lance Bass and David Spade after Chris Harrison‘s June 2021 departure from the franchise, the new episodes will have just one emcee: Jesse Palmer.

ABC confirmed the news in May 2022 after previously announcing that the former NFL player would also host Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia‘s season of The Bachelorette. Palmer, who led season 5 of The Bachelor in 2004, replaced guest hosts Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe, who helmed seasons 17 and 18 of The Bachelorette last year.

Some Bachelor in Paradise alums were hoping that Wells Adams would get the gig, but instead he’ll return in his role as bartender. “Wells was more interactive with all of us than the host was just because he was there every day at the bar,” Kendall Long said during a May 2022 episode of Us Weekly‘s “Here for the Right Reasons” podcast. “And he really had a sort of host role in talking about actual, real emotions, giving advice.”

Tammy Ly, who appeared on season 7 with Kendall, agreed with her former costar. “Wells should just be the permanent host,” she told Us in May 2022. “I think he’s killer. He has great commentary. He’s funny. He’s also sympathetic and, like, really relatable.”

Aside from the host, ABC hasn’t announced any other casting news for the show’s upcoming season, but the network’s entertainment president Craig Erwich hinted that the potential contestants will be able to live up to the hype.

“When I think of some of the people they have in mind to come back for Bachelor in Paradise, I think it’s going to continue to be a very watched and very discussed block of programming on Mondays and Tuesdays,” he said during ABC’s Upfront presentation in May 2022.

Season 8 is set to tape in the summer, meaning that it’s likely some of the cast-offs from Gabby and Rachel’s upcoming season could end up on the beach. Filming for their joint season 19 began in March 2022 with a premiere date set for July 11, 2022.

There’s also a possibility that some of the contestants from Michelle Young‘s season of The Bachelorette could make an appearance. Fan favorite Rodney Mathews, for example, has hinted that he’d be willing to head to Mexico to find love.

“I don’t want to give a hard yes or no,” he told Us in March 2022. “I’m always open to [love]. I’m really hoping to find it. I think have a weird feeling, I feel like this is my year. I’m going to speak it into existence, manifest it.”
