The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City returned for a third season on Sept. 28, and it kicked off with a lot of drama. To start, Jen Shah, who has since admitted to fraud, was seen bragging about making “millions”. In an interview conducted for Season 1 on Dec. 9, 2019, Jen, 48, said, “What I’ve done for the last 20 years is direct response marketing. I make millions. Hey, you’ve gotta do what you’ve gotta do for money. I’m like the Wizard of Oz.”

The footage was used in the first two minutes of Wednesday’s episode, which showed the difference three years has made in the lives of the cast that also includes Meredith Marks, Lisa Barlow, Heather Gay and Whitney Rose.

Jen’s ongoing fraud case will obviously be featured in this new season of the show, as her husband, Sharrieff Shah Sr., told her (in 2022), “Our time is coming. I just can’t lie to you. This is a test for all of us.” And later in the episode, when Jen was busy planning her husband’s 51st birthday party, they talked about staying away from drama as her trail nears. Obviously, we now know that Jen forwent a trial by pleading guilty to her charges, but this episode was filmed before then, and in her private confessional, Jen said, “I’m not going to take a plea deal, when I’m not guilty. I’m innocent. I would be lying if I said I wasn’t scared. I’m not thinking about myself. I’m thinking about my family. I can’t imagine being away from them. It would literally kill me.”

She also complained about living in a house that’s “only” 4500 square feet with a “normal” sized closet, which made us cringe a bit, but at the end of the day, that’s just who Jen is. For those who haven’t been following along, Jen allegedly scammed hundreds of people — predominantly elderly people — out of money through a nationwide telemarketing scheme. Her March 2021 arrest was documented in Season 2 of the show, and in July 2022, she reversed her previous not guilty plea by pleading guilty in front of US District Judge Sidney Stein in Manhattan federal court. Jen currently faces up to 14 years in prison and restitution of up to $9.5 million, and she’s scheduled to be sentenced on Nov. 28.

Later in the episode, Lisa apologized to Seth Marks for calling Meredith a “whore” last season. It all went down at Coach Shah’s party, where Lisa also told Meredith that she hoped to speak to her again in the future, but no one thought it was the best place to have such conversations. Lisa spent most of her conversation with Seth “making excuses” for her behavior, so he didn’t feel that her apology was genuine. And she was so overwhelmed by their chat that she left the party in tears, but Meredith and Jen didn’t even bat an eye. They know Lisa made her bed, and now she needs to lie in it.

CNN
 —

The music of the night will continue for eight weeks longer than expected.

The Broadway musical “The Phantom of the Opera” announced in September that it would be closing in February because of declining ticket sales, but plans have changed.

On Tuesday, the show’s producer, Cameron Mackintosh, announced the show will now run until April 16.

An unexpected bolster in sales, as well as a busy Thanksgiving week, helped the longest-running show in Broadway history earn $2.2 million in sales last week, according to The New York Times.

“What a phenomenal response there has been to the show ending,” Mackintosh told the Times. “We’ve sold out virtually everything that we have on sale.”

The musical will celebrate its 35th anniversary in January.

With music by famed composer Andrew Lloyd Webber, “Phantom” features a masked music lover who haunts the Paris Opera House.

The Broadway show is directed by Hal Prince. In 1988, the show won seven Tony Awards.

Leni Klum, 18, got a lot of attention for her latest sexy Instagram post. The daughter of Heidi Klum, 49, posed in a red bra and matching underwear as she sat on top of a bathroom sink, in the new eye-catching photo, which served as an ad for the lingerie company Intimissimi. She also had her hair down and was brushing her teeth with a toothbrush as she looked at the camera with a slight smile.

“night time routine in the new intimissimi christmas lingerie pieces available and OUT NOW online and in all intimissimi stores! @intimissimiofficial,” Leni captioned the post. Her followers were quick to compliment her shortly after she published the photo. “She is so beautiful,” one follower wrote while another simply but effectively wrote, “Wow.”

Before Leni posted her newest photo, she made headlines for appearing in a lingerie campaign alongside her model mom. After she received some negative criticism from online users, who called some of the photos “disturbing” and “weird,” the young beauty defended herself while walking the red carpet of walking the red carpet at Heidi’s annual Halloween party on October 31.

“I honestly didn’t look at a lot of the reactions,” she said in an interview at the event. “I am overall happy with the campaign and I had an amazing day with my mom. I think the photos turned out great, and we had an amazing time. I just don’t look at it, honestly. If I don’t look at it, I don’t have to pay any attention to it, so I just don’t know what is there.”

In the controversial campaign, which was also for Intimissimi, the mother and daughter were seen posing in various bras and underwear and also danced to Italian classical music, in a video that went along with the photos. Howard Stern also criticized the photos and video on an episode of his SiriusXM show. “I looked at it and I thought, ‘This is so f—king’ out of line. It is so inappropriate. But you can’t stop looking at it,” he said on the air. “It looks like a guy’s fantasy. They’re kissing and they’re holding each other. And they’re frolicking.”

Despite the negative opinions, Leni continued to praise her mom and revealed she’s grateful to have had the opportunity. “I love her. She’s an inspiration. Just the advice she gives me, the way she works, everything about her, I can go on and on,” she said. “I love shooting with her.”
