How to listen to Beyoncé’s new album, ‘Renaissance’

Published

on

The world is just days away from Queen Bey’s new album drop. “Renaissance” marks Beyoncé’s seventh studio album and first solo album in six years, since “Lemonade” in 2016.

After giving fans a sneak peak with the release of the single “Break My Soul,” which has amassed over 80 million streams on Spotify since its release on June 20, the rest of “Renaissance” will drop on July 29.

The “Formation” singer revealed the record’s tracklist in a post to her Instagram story on July 20. The 16 tracks include “Energy,” “Church Girl,” “Thique,” “America Has a Problem,” and “Virgo Grooves,” a likely reference to the singer’s zodiac sign.

In a rare, lengthy post from the artist in Instagram, Beyoncé said that creating the latest album gave her “a place to dream and to find escape during a scary time for the world.”

“It allowed me to feel free and adventurous in a time when little else was moving,” she wrote. “My intention was to create a safe place, a place without judgment. A place to be free of perfectionism and overthinking. A place to scream, release, feel freedom. It was a beautiful journey of exploration. I hope you find joy in this music. I hope it inspires you to release the wiggle. Ha! And to feel as unique, strong, and sexy as you are.”

The inclusion of “act i” in the title leads some fans to wonder whether there will be another batch of new songs forthcoming — but for now, here’s how to listen to “act one” of the “Renaissance” era.

Here’s how and where to listen to ‘Renaissance’

Beyoncé’s 2016 album “Lemonade” streamed exclusively Tidal, her husband Jay-Z’s streaming service, for three years.

However, “Break My Soul” from “Renaissance” was available on Amazon Music, Apple Music, Deezer, SoundCloud, Spotify, Tidal and YouTube Music.

Similarly, Beyoncé’s website provided links for pre-saving and pre-adding “Renaissance” on streaming platforms. Or, follow these links, which we’ll be updating.

Published

Jessie James Decker has no time for comments about her kids! Over the weekend, the 34-year-old singer shared a series of pictures from her family’s trip to Mexico.

Jessie posted a photo of herself, husband Eric Decker and their three children — Vivianne, 8, Eric, 7, and Forrest, 4 — posing in their swimwear, which led some fans to talk about the kids’ abdominal muscles.

One user commented that it was “strange” for children to have bodies like that at young ages, while another wrote, “That doesn’t look right … Sorry, not sorry.”

Jessie took to the comments to shut down anyone who felt the need to discuses her children’s bodies.

“From one mother to another, please don’t call my children’s appearance strange just because they don’t look the way you think they should? It’s unkind,” she wrote.

Decker had another comment for users who believed she altered her children’s appearance with an app.

“Surely this is an app but I don’t see anyone saying as much,” she wrote with sarcasm. “Yeah I used an ‘ab’ app on my small children wtf.”

Jessie’s comments weren’t just filled with negativity. Some of the singer’s famous friends took to the comments section to express their inspiration to hit the gym after seeing her kids.

“Just wait till I start doing 2 a days 🙄😂 they’re ripped!!,” Kane Brown said.

“These abs on these babies, tho!!! I gotta step my game up! Lol,” Kelly Rowland added.

“I love these smiles. The strength. So in their bodies. Fun goals 💋💛♥️💕,” Selma Blair wrote.

Jessie also gave her followers a look at her and her husband’s beach bodies. In a video montage from their trip, the singer led with a picture of her rocking a pink swimsuit, and the NFL player going shirtless while they smiled on the beach with their kids.

“Had the time of our lives on a much needed family vacation!!!! So grateful for the sun, fun, food, family and friends🌴🥥✨🥰 until next time🥰,” she wrote.

In another video, Jessie gave her followers a look at her son, Forrest’s, Michael Jackson dance moves.

“Our little superstar!! Forrest entertained everyone all week long going from Elvis to Michael Jackson!! His love of music and dance warms my heart! This kid is never stops performing or dancing no matter the time of day!!,” she captioned the video set to Michael Jackson’s song, “Bad.”

The family trip came after Jessie competed on season 31 of Dancing With the Stars. In October, ET spoke up with the singer, who shared how hard she was working to balance work, motherhood and competing for the mirrorball trophy.

“It’s really hard! I’m not a dancer and I think I underestimated how hard this was going to be,” she told ET. “But I am proud of myself for challenging myself and every week getting out there and doing my best.”

15 Bluetooth Turntables For Spinning Your Favorite Tunes

This also comes with a dust cover, adapter for 7″ records, aluminum plate, attachment pieces, rubber vinyl platter, and a USB B cable.

Promising review: “My teen daughter has begun to show a deep interest in music and wanted to get started with vinyl. I have a large collection of LPs, which have been well-cared for and only played on high-end equipment. Knowing that she would want to play some of those records, I was looking for a good quality turntable that would perform well and not cause any harm to the vinyl. This Sony fit the bill perfectly for both of our needs. It is a solid piece of hifi-grade equipment, is well-designed with simple and intelligent controls, and it allows for multiple means of playback connectivity. The Bluetooth connected easily to an Amazon Echo Studio speaker, which sounds great, and the Studio then reconnects immediately upon each use without having to re-pair with the turntable. Build quality is nice, it has a good weight, and has a very aesthetically pleasing and understated design. Well worth purchasing.” —nycmrx

Jake Flint’s family is mourning the loss of the country music singer following the news that he died in his sleep at the age of 37, hours after getting married.

On Wednesday, Nov. 30, Flint’s family sent a press release to TODAY.com confirming the musician died on Nov. 26 during the early hours of the morning.

The statement also included a message from Flint’s family that said, “Our hearts are broken over this tragic loss. Jacob was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and partner to his wife, Brenda. He valued his family, friendships and living life to the fullest, which was evident in his songwriting.”

Flint’s loved ones wrote, “Every person who knew him has a story of his wit, charm, talent, and compassion. We are so grateful for the outpouring of support and the many beautiful tributes that have been shared about the impact Jacob had on many lives.”

“While we grieve what we know could have been, we’re grateful that his talent and love live on in his songs,” the statement concluded.

According to the press release, Flint’s funeral services will be held on Dec. 5 at Cedar Point Church in Claremore, Oklahoma.

The press release said that a cause of death has not been determined.

Flint and his wife, Brenda, tied the knot in an Oklahoma ceremony last weekend. Brenda Flint grieved the loss of her husband in a Facebook post shared on Nov. 28.

She uploaded a video from their wedding that showed the newlyweds goofing off and dancing with each other as a photographer snapped photos of them.

“I don’t understand,” she wrote in the caption.

In a separate post shared the next day, she said, “We should be going through wedding photos but instead I have to pick out clothes to bury my husband in. People aren’t meant to feel this much pain. My heart is gone and I just really need him to come back.”

She wrote, “ I can’t take much more. I need him here.”

Flint, who was born and raised in Oklahoma, released his first album in 2015, titled “I’m Not Okay.” He then released an eponymous record in 2020 and followed it with two live albums. His most recent album was 2021’s “Live and Socially Distanced at Mercury Lounge.” He was also named “Breakout Artist of the Year” at the 2019 We Are Tulsa Music Awards.

His manager, Brenda Cline,” called the late musician a “rising star” in a statement and celebrated his positive attitude.

“He had a humble personality, lovable nature, and the ability to keep you laughing till your sides hurt,” she said.

Publicist Clif Doyal praised Flint for being “a true ambassador of the Oklahoma and Texas Red Dirt music scene.”

“With his infectious smile and disarming sense of humor, he was loved by many, and I believe that, along with his music, will be his lasting legacy,” Doyal wrote.
