The First Trailer For “Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves” Just Dropped At San Diego Comic-Con

Gelatinous cubes! Owlbears! Regé-Jean Page lookin’ even more handsome than usual!

Hey howdy hey, readers — we’re reporting to you live from San Diego Comic-Con 2022, where we just received our first look at the highly anticipated adventure film Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves! And it looks so good!!! Almost as good as Chris Pine’s hair looked during the panel!

No, seriously though. Take a moment. Look at it. It’s like a shampoo commercial:

See?! I told you! This looks so fun! And, just like every good real game of D&D, the film follows a lovable band of misfits forced together for a common cause.

While we don’t know a ton about the plot of the film yet, thanks to the synopsis we do know that our adventurers will be executing “an epic heist” in order to “retrieve a lost relic.”

Also, like…this cast is stacked?! We’re talkin’ Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Regé-Jean Page, Justice Smith, Sophia Lillis, Chloe Coleman, Daisy Head, AND Hugh Grant.

And the cinematography and set design both look absolutely incredible — some of these shots could’ve been plucked right out of one of the books, and this shot transition blew my lil’ brain apart:

Plus, the creatures look so accurate and good?! And it’s worth mentioning that the directors/writers, Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley, did make a point to mention during the panel that there was a fair amount of practical effects used, alongside the visual effects, which really adds to the realness. GELATINOUS CUBE!

Let me just say: As someone who both recently started playing D&D weekly again this year, and who truly loves goofy adventure films — this movie very much looks like, as the kids would say, my shit.

Paramount Pictures

The adventure and humor mix is giving me major The Mummy vibes, and — if you know anything about me — I mean that as the highest possible compliment.

So, uh, yeah…there ya have it! What did you think of the trailer? Also, do you play D&D? Which class do you play? Share in the comments below, and be sure to check out Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves when it hits theaters March 2023.

Women Are Sharing The Most Sexist Thing A Man Has Ever Told Them In A Professional Setting

“In college, I was hardworking, hungry, and eager. I had to be better than everyone else in the room as a music industry minor and videography major, which, at the time, were very male-dominated fields. I have many examples of inappropriate and nasty things done while I was a student and employee, but here’s the worst: One semester, I sought out an internship. My professor got me an interview with the manager of a band that happened to be my favorite band of all time. However, he sternly warned me, ‘Don’t go sleeping around with the band! I’m not going out on a limb to get you this internship just so you can fuck all the band members and cause mayhem! I don’t want to be responsible for another Yoko Ono!’ Then, during introductions, he winked and told the manager, ‘She’s pretty, but she’s smart, too! I already warned her about being a groupie and told her she isn’t allowed to flirt with the boys!'”

“I had done nothing but exude professionalism and express excitement for the professional opportunity up to that point. I certainly hadn’t said or done anything to suggest that was in it to ‘fuck the band.’ I was too stunned to say anything other than, ‘Okay…?’

It was horrifying, embarrassing, and degrading, but I hadn’t learned to find my voice and didn’t know what I didn’t have to take yet. The music industry ended up being a brutal industry to be in as a woman. I could be standing behind a mixing board in a venue with my hands on the knobs, and a band’s tech would ask me where our sound guy was. During introductions with new bands or agents, I was almost always asked whose girlfriend I was (I couldn’t possibly be in the room as a professional!).

I was also consistently told to not entice my male cohorts by being so sexy if I wanted to be respected and taken seriously — but also was told to be as sexy as possible for shows and events. Ultimately, I got the internship and established a lifelong relationship with everyone I worked with, and that manager went on to mentor me for years. Unfortunately, I don’t see a whole lot of progress in the music industry, even today.” —Anonymous, Virginia, 42

Mila Kunis Reacts to Ashton Kutcher’s Tequila-Fueled ‘I Love You’ Story (Exclusive)

Mila Kunis is telling her sober side of her husband, Ashton Kutcher’s “I love you” story. ET spoke to Kunis at the premiere of her new film, Luckiest Girl Alive, where she confirmed Kutcher’s story, dished on the film and more.

Earlier this week, during a new episode of his Peloton interview and marathon training series, Our Future Selves, Kutcher spoke to Kenny Chesney, about the hilarious way his hit song, “You and Tequila” helped him drunkenly profess his love to Kunis for the first time.

“I showed up drunk at her house, at like two in the morning, and I just started screaming, ‘You and tequila make me crazy,'” Kutcher recalled. “And I told her I love her, and she said, ‘Don’t say it if you don’t mean it. Are you gonna love me in the morning when you wake up from this hangover?'”

And sure enough, Kutcher did, telling Kunis the next day that he indeed still felt the same way he did the night before during his drunken romp.

“It really happened,” Kunis said, corroborating her husband’s tequila-fueled tale. “Oh, I remember that night. I didn’t have tequila. I was sober and I was like, ‘Oh my god.’ It happened, guys.”

As for when she knew she loved Kutcher, Kunis said it was at the same time.

In her new thriller, Kunis plays TifAni “Ani” FaNelli, a New York woman who appears to have it all, from the sought-after job at a glossy magazine to the dream Nantucket wedding. But all of that is threatened when a crime documentary director interviews her about a “shocking incident” that took place at her prestigious high school when she was a teenager. As a result, Ani is forced to confront the truth about what actually happened.

It took seven years to make, a feat Kunis called “amazing.”

“I think it’s amazing that this movie got made… close to six to seven years to make it, so, the fact that it happened is a feat all in its own, and the outcome has just exceeded everyone’s expectation, myself included,” she said.

While she’s previously spoken to ET about how she got into character and portrayed some of the film’s toughest moments, Thursday night she was all about gushing over the film’s young cast, who all called Kunis an “icon.”

“That makes me feel very old,” Kunis quipped said after hearing about the praise from her young cast mates. “They are all insanely talented. They don’t need to look up to me, they’re incredibly brilliant without me, but yeah it’s kind of strange to be the old person in the room.”

One member of that young cast is Chiara Aurelia, who plays the teenage version of Ani. Aurelia, who also spoke to ET Thursday said she hopes viewers, both young and old, are inspired by the story told in the film.

“I hope people are inspired by this story,” Aurelia said. “I hope that it creates conversation. I think I hope that people are inspired, and hopefully show that you really can find your voice.”

Luckiest Girl Alive will be showing in select theaters on Sept. 30 and premieres on Netflix on Oct. 7.
