2-in-1! Kendall Jenner Takes Off Vintage Dress to Reveal Matching Bikini

For Kendall Jenner, anywhere is a runway! The supermodel demonstrated how to pull off a two-in-one outfit, and we’re taking notes.

On Monday, July 25, the reality star, 26, shared a carousel of photos and a video via Instagram from what appears to be her vacation in Hawaii. In the first photo, Jenner posed on the beach, wearing a cowboy hat and a sheer, graphic print Jean Paul Gaultier dress. The look, which debuted in 2000, features psychedelic colors and an illustration of palm trees and mountains.

In the video — which to Us can be classified as a mini fashion show — the 818 Tequila founder shimmied out of the figure-hugging frock, revealing a matching swim set. Like the dress, the bikini features a tropical graphic. The set is complete with a ruffled hem and retro high waist. For the last photo of the slide, Jenner modeled the look while resting against a table on the sand.

“Humuhumunukunukuapua`a,” she captioned the post, which is the name of Hawaii’s reef triggerfish. The sea animal also matches Jenner’s ensemble as it has yellow and green scales.

Her getaway snaps come after she shared a different batch of vacation photos on July 14, including another sexy bikini clip.

In the social media post, Jenner wowed in a tiny red bikini that was adorned with pink and white flowers. The fashion guru modeled the look in the bathroom of her vacation rental. Jenner accessorized with a small chain necklace and a tan baseball cap.

Elsewhere in the slideshow, the Kardashians star shared a photo of a gorgeous, green mountain view, a snap of herself lounging on a yacht and a photo of a green Igloo cooler filled with 818 and Modelo beer. Jenner also included a video of herself splashing around at a black sand beach.

Of course, Jenner’s bikini bod isn’t the only reason she’s making headlines this month.

She seemed to hint at a reunion with Devin Booker after they were spotted attending the same wedding on July 16.

The pair were seen in videos on social media at the wedding of Michael D. Ratner, founder of OBB Media, and Lauren Rothberg, the head of Hailey Bieber‘s skincare brand, Rhode. The nuptials took place in Napa, California, and were also attended by NBA star Blake Griffin, manager Scooter Braun, The Hills alums Frankie Delgado and Jen Delgado and Hailey, 25.

One day after the wedding, Jenner shared photos from the special event, one of which showed her cozying up to a man.

Though their heads were cut off, fans immediately speculated that it could be Booker, 25. The basketball player is 6’5, and the person in Jenner’s photo is clearly towering over the 5’10 model. The man is wearing a simple black blazer and trousers with a white shirt, entirely buttoned at the neck. Social media snaps from various wedding guests show Booker in what appears to be the same outfit at the reception.

Us Weekly first confirmed the pair split on June 22 after two years together. The two noticeably didn’t mark their anniversary on social media, and insiders revealed they decided to take a break a couple of weeks earlier.

“[Kendall and Devin are] taking this time to focus on themselves and figure out if a future together is what’s meant to be,” a source exclusively told Us at the time.

Jennifer Lawrence Paired a Cinched-Waist Dress With the Sparkliest Choker

Published

on

By day, Jennifer Lawrence is a flat-shoe, straight-leg-jeans, and tee kind of woman. Come nighttime, she amps up the glamour. The Dior gown she wore to the Gotham Awards on November 28—which featured an elegant scooped neckline, thin straps, a cinched waist, and a voluminous skirt—was nothing short of charming.

While her Manhattan style is distinctly relaxed, Lawrence served Old Hollywood glamour in her sculptural dress, which she accessorized with a diamond choker and red lipstick, as she presented the best-feature award.

Given that she’s a Dior ambassador, Lawrence often consults the brand for the red carpet. Earlier this month she had a floral moment at the Governors Awards in a dress from Maria Grazia Chiuri’s spring-summer 2023 collection. And at the Toronto Film Festival in September, Jennifer Lawrence picked a diaphanous sheer autumn-winter 2022 couture gown to wear to the premiere of Causeway.

Crystals, Cowboy Hats, Durags, and Dinner Jackets: Guests Went All Out at Born x Raised’s Annual Sadie Hawkins Winter Formal

Published

on

For one of the biggest bashes of the year, the annual Born x Raised Sadie Hawkins Winter Formal has always maintained an IYKYK vibe, and this year was no different. Hundreds of people, all of whom somehow seemed to know each other, turned out in their finest duds to attend the function, which the brand’s cofounder Chris “Spanto” Printup describes as “a wedding meets a bar mitzvah meets a quinceañera.”

Wearing a Grace Jones–inspired suit embellished with pieces from Diné (Apache) jeweler Lionel Thundercloud, Printup set the dress code for the night, which was held at DTLA’s Soho Warehouse. “People in Los Angeles want to dress up, and they don’t always get to,” said Born x Raised’s Alex “2Tone” Erdmann as he mingled with guests on the rooftop pool deck. “They have all these wonderful outfits and really show out and get dressed to the nines.” That said, attendees had been warned in advance that the dress code was strictly no streetwear and “if you show up in a Born x Raised hoodie, you will be tarred and feathered at the door.”

The night kicked off with a dinner sponsored by Nike, which collaborated on a limited-edition Air Force 1 Low sneaker to mark the occasion. But what was billed as an intimate dinner for 100 people steadily multiplied over the evening, with guests sharing both their seats and plates of wild arugula salad and sea bass as each wave of new friends arrived.

Among those in attendance for the pre-party cocktails and dinner were Danny Trejo, Miguel, Nadia Lee Cohen, Freddie Gibbs, Kirsty Godso, YG, and Mister Cartoon. “I had to come as the black James Bond this year,” said Gibbs as he lined up to have a prom-style portrait taken by photographer Carlos Jaramillo—a highlight of the event. “I always have to come as the best dressed at the Sadie Hawkins. You just gotta stay dapper at all times.”

Created in 2013, Born x Raised’s founders describe the brand as a love letter to their hometown, eschewing the city’s influencer culture in favor of people who power the real LA, and the party as a celebration of its creative community. “When I grew up in LA, it was a huge melting pot for all different cultures,” Printup told Vogue. “That’s what we’re re-creating with everyone here in this room. It’s the most well-rounded mix, and it’s the party I want to be at.”

Lucy Boynton Debuts Her New Red Hair for the Holidays

Published

on

Why wait until the new year for an aesthetic overhaul? For a makeover primed for holiday wear, look to Lucy Boynton, who traded her signature blonde chop last week for a gingered take on the year’s primary color trend: red. The actor debuted the burnished shade at a London screening of The Pale Blue Eye, with her pin-straight copper lengths pulled into a low-slung flip knot made sleeker for its center part.

Colorists Mark William Selley and Halley Brisker created the dimensional color, which felt all the more effulgent when secured with a gilded accessory in the back. The standout moment was rounded out by Boynton’s usual artistically driven, ‘60s-inspired eyes (separated lashes, well-placed rhinestones, and swipes of onyx), feathered brows, and a pink lip executed by makeup Jo Baker. Should the last lap of the year find you in something of a rut, make like Boynton and embrace that “New Year, New Me” mentality early.
