The next powerful female hero is coming with the new She-Hulk: Attorney at Law trailer. Tatiana Maslany, well-known for her performances in Orphan Black, is leading the cast of the Marvel Cinematic Universe series as Jennifer Walters, an attorney who specializes in cases involving superhumans. After receiving a blood transfusion from her cousin Bruce Banner, Jennifer finds she has the ability to transform into the 6-foot-7 super-powered She-Hulk and must find a way to balance her life in the courtroom with her life as a superhero.
Alongside Maslany, the cast for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law includes the MCU debuts Jameela Jamil as the titular hero’s rival Titania, Josh Segarra, Ginger Gonzaga, Jon Bass, Renée Elise Goldsberry and the MCU returns of Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky/Abomination, Mark Ruffalo as Smart-Hulk and Benedict Wong as Wong. The Disney+ series hails from Jessica Gao, the Emmy-winning writer behind the “Pickle Rick” Rick and Morty season 3 episode, with Marry Me‘s Kat Coiro leading the directing team. Filming on She-Hulk: Attorney at Law ran from April to August 2021 and the series is finally gearing up to make its premiere this summer, but not before audiences get a new taste of what’s to come.
With less than a month remaining until the show’s premiere, Marvel unveiled a new She-Hulk: Attorney at Law trailer at San Diego Comic-Con. The trailer offers plenty of new looks at the upcoming MCU series, including the titular heroine’s fourth-wall breaks, her fight with Jameela Jamil’s Titania and the return of Charlie Cox as Daredevil in a new suit. Check out the exciting trailer below:
Though the first footage for the series built some anticipation amongst audiences, the new She-Hulk: Attorney at Law trailer is sure to have most fans excited for the show’s premiere. The first trailer infamously divided audiences over the CGI for its titular heroine, though the new She-Hulk trailer looks to have its visuals widely improved for both Jennifer’s green alter ego and Ruffalo’s Smart-Hulk. The trailer also properly reveals Jennifer’s fourth-wall breaks in She-Hulk, an element teased in prior clips of the series, though now officially making her the first MCU hero to do so before Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool 3 releases.
The biggest takeaway for many MCU fans from the She-Hulk: Attorney at Law trailer is sure to be that of Charlie Cox’s return as Daredevil in a new yellow suit. Audiences have eagerly awaited to see where Matt Murdock may turn up next following his MCU return in Spider-Man: No Way Home, with rumors and theories having swirled of his appearance in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law while Marvel has also confirmed his appearance in the upcoming Echo show. Only time will tell how he factors into the former series when She-Hulk: Attorney at Law premieres on Disney+ on August 17.
